IrisAgent connects to Zoho Desk as a primary ticketing source. Once connected, it imports your tickets and knowledge base articles to power suggested resolutions, SmartOps procedures (chat, voice, ticket auto-respond, and agent assist), AutoQA, AutoKB, and Case Triggers. You connect with a Zoho OAuth client that you create. IrisAgent does not use a Zoho marketplace app for this step.

Create a Zoho OAuth client

You need access to the Zoho API Console.
  1. Go to https://api-console.zoho.com/.
  2. Click Add Client.
  3. Select Server Based Applications.
  4. In the Client Details tab, enter:
    • Client Name: IrisAgent
    • Homepage URL: https://irisagent.com
    • Authorized Redirect URIs: https://frontend-api-server-v2.api.irisagent.com/v1/oauth/zoho/callback
  5. Click Create. Zoho generates a Client ID and Client Secret.
  6. Open the Settings tab and enable Use the same OAuth credentials for all data centers.
  7. Open the Client Secret tab and copy the Client ID and Client Secret. You will paste these into IrisAgent next.
The redirect URI must match exactly, including https and the /v1/oauth/zoho/callback path. A mismatch is the most common reason the Zoho consent screen fails.

Sign in to IrisAgent and connect Zoho

  1. Go to the IrisAgent Dashboard and sign in with Google, Microsoft, or Okta SSO.
  2. On first login, the onboarding wizard lists Zoho Desk under ticketing systems (tickets and knowledge base articles). Choose it there, or later go to Manage Integrations and click Connect with Zoho.
  3. Paste the Client ID and Client Secret from the Zoho API Console.
  4. Click Connect. IrisAgent sends you to Zoho to approve access, then returns you to the dashboard and starts importing tickets and articles.
You can change the connected Zoho integration user later from the same integrations screen. Zoho is one of the sources that supports that flow.

What gets imported

  • Tickets from Zoho Desk
  • Knowledge base articles from Zoho Desk (same connection, no second integration)
There is no separate Zoho Guide-style connect step. See Ticketing System KB.

Agent assist

IrisAgent does not ship a native Zoho Desk marketplace sidebar. After you connect Zoho Desk, agents use suggested resolutions and procedures from the IrisAgent dashboard, and the same SmartOps procedures apply to chat, voice, and ticket auto-respond. For a native sidebar inside the ticket view, see the Agent Copilot apps for Zendesk, Salesforce, Intercom, Freshworks, and Jira.

Optional next steps

  • Add more knowledge (Confluence, a public website, or uploaded files) from Manage Integrations.
  • Create or enable SmartOps procedures so assist and the AI Agent follow the same flows.
  • Use Case Triggers to auto-respond or route Zoho tickets.
